The terms and conditions of use of this site have been updated in preparation for Google's new "interest-based advertising". The following text has been added:

We use third-party advertising companies to serve ads when you visit our website. These companies may use information (not including your name, address, email address, or telephone number) about your visits to this and other websites in order to provide advertisements about goods and services of interest to you. These companies may use cookies to serve ads on your site.

Specifically, for example, Google use the DoubleClick DART cookie. You can opt out of use of this cookie either by using your own cookie-blocking facilities or by notifying Google here.
