The message is coming through on this blog loud and clear: the trainers actually delivering ITIL version 3 Foundations training are NOT HAPPY.

Don't get het up about ITIL V3 qualifications scheme; it is still a work in progress

A posting on the UK itSMF member's forum by Sharon Taylor, Chief Examiner, resolves a few issues with the ITIL V3 qualifications scheme, including the 21.5 credits issue. It also states that "this is still work in development and many discussions are taking place to ensure the final form of the scheme..." So perhaps APMG's announcement was a little premature, because it certainly didn't mention any further "work in development".

kimono I knew I should have held this month's newsletter a few days. The moment it is published with another tirade about the lack of support information and direction in ITIL certification, APMG finally open the kimono.

The way OGC and APMG stand back without any response is completely unacceptable

More on ITIL Version 3 certification from Pink Elephant, so good on Pink for giving us some transparency into their thinking. Unfortunately that thinking is a bit alarming. OGC's and APMG's failure to act in the ongoing fiasco which is the ITIL certification industry right now is unacceptable.
