the new name for Configuration Management, SACM appears only in the process itself. Not even the authors of other chapters in the same book are aware of the name change.
I believe this is incorrect: the glossaries say "Configuration Management is part of an overall Service Asset and Configuration Management Process"
it is not easy to identify a clearly delineated Configuration Management within the SACM chapter of Service Transition so I suspect it is a cover-up definition to clean up from changing the name in mid-stride, but it is nevertheless an out.
